The team  at Donegal Volunteer Centre are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Volunteer Individual Recognition Award and the 2026 Volunteer Project Recognition Award.

These awards celebrate the dedication, passion and impact of volunteers and community projects across County Donegal. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, 16th July 2026 at 6.00pm in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny.

Individual Volunteer Nominations
Registered organisations are invited to nominate volunteers who have made a significant contribution to their communities. This is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate individuals whose efforts often go unnoticed but make a real difference.

Volunteer Project Nominations
Organisations can also nominate a Donegal-based community project (ongoing or recently completed). Projects will be assessed based on originality and innovation, community impact, and volunteer involvement. The winning project will receive a €400 Shop LK voucher.
