CULTURE CLUB -MAKING 15s

CULTURE CLUB -MAKING 15s

Some photos from last Tuesday night’s weekly Culture Club at Dunfanaghy Family Resource Centre. Participants were invited to have a go making a classic yummy treat from the North-Fifteens.🧑‍🍳😋 A treat so easy to make.

Does anyone else find baking ( this was a no bake treat!) and cooking easy and straightforward treats and dishes relaxing? For example, bagging digestives and crushing them until they are a fine sand like texture to make 15s or the stirring recipe mixtures together? It’s a great way to unwind and you get something delicious to eat at the end of it.

Our participants found making fifteens fun and relaxing. We had cups of tea and a tray of fifteens (I had made a tray the previous night as the mixture takes 4 hours to set) over some art activities after and they all took their trays of fifteens home to set and eat.

The Culture Club is a weekly session for all adults to promote health & wellbeing. Everyone is welcome to come along on a Tuesday evening 6-8pm where all are invited to take part in cultural/story exchanges and creative arts activities over cups of tea and treats.
