Irish Emigration Stories were shared and explored along with stories of those who have come here to Ireland at Dunfanaghy Family Resource Centre. Participants were invited to share their stories and explore what the word ‘Home’ means to them. What, where or who is ‘Home’? They also explored these questions through writing using poetry as a medium for creative expression. 

The Culture Club is a weekly session for all adults to promote health & wellbeing. Everyone is welcome to come along on a Tuesday evening 6-8pm where everyone is invited to take part in cultural/story exchanges and creative arts activities over cups of tea and biscuits.

Tonight’s session will continue with inviting people to share stories of leaving home,arriving and new beginnings from and/ or stories of their loved ones they know who left their homeland.
