Coming up to that time of year again when we survey the state of our coastal habitat.
Killahoey and Portnablagh are 2 of the coastal areas we’re involved in the survey.
Notable that the green algae carpet on the sand at Kill seems to be spreading ever further.

Visible in the photograph above – the green plant matter suffocates the life underneath and disrupts the delicate ecosystem. Just one thing we’re keeping an eye on along this stretch of Ireland’s coastline.
