Saturday November 1st was the date for an impressive display of Halloween fireworks over the village of Dunfanaghy.
The market Square was abuzz with excitement, families milling around, stalls, a D.J. , music playing.
The Halloween torchlight Parade accompanied by drums and penetrating percussive samba music from costumed performers proceeded into town just after 7pm. The sound and spectacle was watched over by the large crowd assembled.
Fireworks kicked off at 7.45 pm, bang on time, and the crowd were rapt as the skies over the village lit up. Once again the festival committee achieved a successful event.
The outflow of the crowds with happy faces spoke to the success of the evening.
